Program

For the band DVA, music critics have a reserved category - "unclassifiable". The duo consisting of Jan Kratochvíl (He) and Bára Ungrová (She) materializes their original musical visions through countless means: their idea of how tango should sound is fulfilled by beatboxing, while delicate folk songs are embellished with the clarinet. They also draw inspiration from the aesthetics of cabarets or circuses. The stories from their own worlds are then described in their own invented language - that's why their music is often referred to as "folklore of nonexistent nations".
